Among the places, what I felt surprised was there is so called 'open toilet' special designed for guys ONLY. So, if you drink a lot and need go to toilet for peeing, you can directly go there without any worry for not finding a toilet... :D

Other than that, the some building designs are quite special and the most important is in Netherlands you will get 'too much' freedoms! You can do whatever you want as long as you don't break the laws... No one will feel strange to you.
